Bring on the struggle...

I might not be where I want to be now... or where I thought I would be a couple of years ago, but atleast I am breathing. I will make something out of that.

P.S. 60 hours complete...

New Year New Life?

Not really....
I have done nothing to change though.
I guess I'm waiting on "something" big to come into my life and change it, but what?

I should just do it myself, I always end up doing everything myself. Why should this be any different? SPECIALLY when talking about MY life!

Wishing

I had always heard, be careful with what you wish for but never really put much thought into it. Now I know how true that is. Even the simplest wish… one you think is insignificant can come to bit you in the ass. That is exactly where I am at. I must admit, it could be worst, but it is starting to get to me.
Maybe I need to change my wish?

Masochist

There is no doubt in my mind, I am a masochist. It took a small deep cut in my right ring finger. I saw the blood. I felt the pain. I knew how yet I didn’t want to heal it right away. With that simple observation my life makes sense.
At times we are prepared knowing the simple solutions to our problems but we don’t always use them, sometimes sulking in the problem somehow feels like our only option. Is that just comfort zone of some sort? What do we expect, for someone to come help you out of it? At times the solutions are in our nose and we refuse to see them or make it happen.

Well till then here I am sulking.

trying a new thing...

I would like to start a journal. I started this blog as a class assignment but maybe I will use this for that purpose. I have been contemplating this for a while. This would be a way to track my life. At times it seems like I can’t remember anything, so I thought this would be a good way to express my feeling, ideas, or random thoughts and explore them later.
The idea of my thoughts being read, I should admit, is very intimidating. As much as an extrovert that I am, I try to keep my feelings deep inside. That has not been working very well for I feel like I can’t really catch my breath lately. (Other reasons may be to blame as well. ; ) )

Makes you think...

Pretty Good

By: Charles Osgood

There once was a pretty good student,
Who sat in a pretty good class

And was taught by a pretty good teacher,
Who always let pretty good pass.

He wasn't terrific at reading,
He wasn't a whiz-bang at math;

But for him education was leading
Straight down a pretty good path.

He didn't find school too exciting,
But he wanted to do pretty well,

And he did have some trouble with writing
And nobody taught him to spell.

When doing arithmetic problems
Pretty good was regarded as fine.

Five plus five needn't always add up to be ten,
A pretty good answer was nine.

The pretty good class that he sat in
Was part of a pretty good school,

And the student was not an exception,
On the contrary, he was the rule.

The pretty good school that he went to
Was in a pretty good town.

And nobody seemed to notice
He could not tell a verb from a noun.

The pretty good student in fact was
Part of a pretty good mob.

And the first time he knew what he lacked was
When he looked for a pretty good job.

It was then, when he sought a position,
He discovered that life could be tough,

And he soon had a sneaky suspicion
Pretty good might not be good enough.

The pretty good town in our story
Was part of a pretty good state,

Which had pretty good aspirations,
And prayed for a pretty good fate.

There once was a pretty good nation,
Pretty proud of the greatness it had,

If you want to be great,
Pretty good is, in fact, pretty bad
